NoteThe studio

Fuse Concept has designed and renovated homes in Singapore since 2001. Each one starts with the way a household actually moves through a flat or a house, then works outward to layout, storage, light and material.

The designer who draws it also runs the site, so what gets quoted is what gets built.

Fuse Concept has been an interior design house since 2001, guided by two words: simplicity and quality. Every project is run by the designer who drew it, so the detail stays intact between the drawing and the finished room.

We work with a fixed set of carpenters and contractors we know, which is why timelines hold and finishes match what was quoted. The studio is on Serangoon Road, and the door is open weekdays.

Sheet 05.1Questions

How much does an HDB renovation cost?

Renovation packages start from about S$20,000 for a 4 or 5 room flat, depending on the scope. Every project gets an itemised quotation after the first consultation, so you see what each line costs before anything is committed.

When should I contact you before key collection?

About six months before. That leaves time for design development, the itemised quotation and material selection, so site work can start as soon as you have the keys.

Do you handle both design and renovation?

Yes. Fuse Concept is a design consultancy and a renovation contractor, so the drawings, the quotation and the site work sit under one contract with one point of contact.

Resale flats and landed houses, or only new homes?

Both. New BTO and resale HDB flats, condos, penthouses, executive maisonettes and landed houses, including alteration and addition works coordinated with the builder.

What happens at the first consultation?

We learn how your household lives, look at the floor plan or visit the site to measure, and talk through the budget. You leave with a clear next step: layout options and a cost range.

Where is the studio and when can I visit?

1090 Serangoon Road, Singapore 328189. Monday to Friday 11:00 to 19:00, weekends and public holidays by appointment.
